In September 2005,  Dr. Amit David was appointed at the helm of the institution. Under his young leadership the college is contemplating various extension plans including new courses I Bachelor of Business Administration and Post-Graduate coursein Social Work (MSW). Besides, certificate courses e.g. Spoken English, Personality Development, Tax Procedure, real investment management, investigation courses in insurance, banking & industrial sectors are conducted during summer months. He aims at improving the library as well as the physical education facilities. Besides this Bachelor of Physical Education course (regular) is also in the offing.

            Currently Ph.D research in various faculties is going on. College has always excelled in the field of games and sports and has topped in various inter-collegiate tournaments conducted by the University as well as other educational institutions.
